Lesson and Performing Group Schedule Information

The program runs on Mondays thru Thursdays, June 22nd thru July 8th, 2026 at St. Francis Xavier Parish Center,  1 Elm St. New Milford. 

Dress Rehearsal and Concert  on the evening of July 8th(6:15-8:45), 2026 at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 3 Old Town Park Rd., New Milford.

Here are some key features of the program schedule.

• Beginner group lessons are 40 minutes in length scheduled between 8:30-10:30 am and 1:15-1:55 pm

• Intermediate, Advanced and Expert group lessons are 30 minutes in length. These lessons are scheduled adjacent to the performing group (Band) time as much as possible. 

• Intermediate through Expert students also have a 45 minute performing group (Band) period.

• Advanced and Expert students may also optionally participate in the Jazz Band. 

Students will be given a specific lesson group time based upon instrument and ability level

Since the program is a group lesson program, it is important that the groups are set up so that the students will receive the best possible instruction. For this reason, we don't set pre-determined times for lessons based upon the instrument, especially for beginners since we don't know ahead of time what instruments students will choose. Once all the signup forms are in (due by June 16th) students will be grouped by instruments and ability levels and we'll notify you by June 18th of the exact schedule. 

Based upon previous years enrollments, listed below is approximately what the schedule will look like. Yellow is beginner level, Green is Intermediate, Blue is Advanced/Expert. If you require a more specific time, you may indicate it on the signup form and we'll do our best to make it work for you. All enrollments and payments are accepted contingent upon the finalized schedule being acceptable to you. If you have a schedule request that we can't accommodate, your payment will be returned to you. In most cases, we are able to work out schedule requests.
