Length can be measured in metres (m), centimetres (cm)

Straight lines are measured with rulers and metre sticks.

Curved lines are measured with an opisometer.

The length of a running track can be measured with a trundle wheel.

Diameters of pipes are measured with vernier callipers.

Temperature (oC) is measured with a thermometer.

Mass (g) is measured with an electronic balance.

Time (s) is measured with a clock or a stop watch.

Volumes (cm3) of liquids are measured with graduated cylinders.
