I implement a systematic approach to data collection on a weekly basis to monitor student progress and inform instructional decision-making. In my previous experience within a self-contained classroom setting, I collected data on students’ IEP goals multiple times per week to ensure accurate tracking of both academic and behavioral performance.
As students transition into the general education environment, I continue to collect and analyze data related to their participation, engagement, and effort across instructional settings. This ongoing process allows for the identification of trends, measurement of growth, and timely adjustments to instructional strategies to meet individual student needs.
Additionally, I maintain consistent communication with students, families, and colleagues to gather comprehensive information that supports accurate progress monitoring and effective IEP reporting.
