Starting high school is a big step. New people, new challenges, and new expectations. That’s why Mindset Mondays are part of how we begin each week in this class. They’re more than just a routine—they’re a chance to pause, reset, and show up with purpose.
Before we jump into schoolwork or plan our next steps, we use this time to reflect, breathe, and build the mindset we need to succeed. High school isn’t just about learning facts. It’s about learning how to face challenges, manage pressure, and grow as a whole person and human being.
Mindset Mondays help us build habits that make a difference: confidence, focus, empathy, and a willingness to grow.
As Kobe Bryant once said:
“Everything negative – pressure, challenges – is all an opportunity for me to rise.”
Let Mindset Mondays be that opportunity for all of us to reflect, grow, and rise as thinkers, leaders, and changemakers.
💡 Got a quote, video, story, or reflection that helps you get in the right mindset? Share it in the Nearpod below! I will use suggestions from the class when they are available.
