1. That all students have the desire to, and can learn and explore the world around them.
2. That students learn in a variety of different ways, and I must differentiate my instruction to accommodate these learning styles.

10. That I must provide specific and explicit feedback and assessments to compliment and guide student learning.
11. That I am responsible to teaching the curriculum prescribed by Alberta Education.
12. That I must be committed to maintaining the dignity of the profession, and adhering to the professional standards of the Alberta Teachers Association.
