Recycling pens sounds unusual. I know, that's what I thought when I heard about it! I thought you would have to go to some obscure place, when really it turns out you can just drop them off at Officeworks. This is great as that way, pens aren't going to landfill and they're being recycled instead. Next time, we will be showing you what to do with your broken and used toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes.

Everyone uses shoes. They’re a basic necessity. But do you ever think about how many pairs of shoes you use over your lifetime? Think about it; all those school shoes, running shoes, fancy shoes and all the ones in between. And when you outgrow them or simply get bored, off to the bin they go. Fortunately, this is not the only option. Both Rebel and Converse now have shoe recycling programs. All Rebel Sports stores will now have a Reuse-A-Shoe recycling program, and Converse has Save-Our-Shoes, which also scores you some store credit.
