2025 RESULTS
The 5th annual Mount Afton Challenge was held on January 18, 2025. Thanks to a huge response from our community, the event was our largest and most successful over the last 5 years.
Through our partnership with the F3 Foundation, the 2025 Mount Afton Challenge raised over $28,500. We are once again thrilled to support the Cabarrus County Chapter of NAMI and the mission of F3 via the F3 Foundation with the funds raised. We hope that the broadened awareness of NAMI Cabarrus will help ensure anyone suffering can more easily find help, support and any needed resources.
We also want to pass on a huge congratulations to all of this year's participants. A tremendous amount of hard work (in some rain) was on full display by all the participants. During the 2 hours of the event, 400 participants completed over 2,650 miles (laps). Great job by all!

The Mount Afton Challenge was born from a desire to make a difference in our community following the loss of a member of our workout group. A big thank you to everyone for embracing this event and allowing us to make an impact. Also, this event could not have happened without the full commitment of the men of F3 Afton and countless volunteers. Thank you all for the time and talent from this group, which helped make the event a huge success again in year four.
Last but not least, we also want to thank our amazing sponsors for their partnership and generosity. The sponsors were a critical part of the event and success of our mission. Please take the time to click the button below to learn more about our 2025 sponsors and how you can support them!
We hope that you will join us again on January 17, 2026 for our 6th Mount Afton Challenge.
Special thanks to Michael A Anderson Photography, Cre8tve Works, and all the individuals that provided the photos and video from the 2025 event that are displayed on this site.
