After learning that race is a better predictor for homelessness in the United States than poverty, the Morris County CoC started working on goals to achieve racial equity in our community. In the spring of 2020, the CAS Committee recommended the initiation of a Racial Equity Task Force to hold the Morris County CoC accountable to improving services and outcomes for people of color.
