Altitude
Santa Fe is located at 7,000 feet. The vast majority of visitors adapt quickly and feel fine with proper hydration and a bit of common sense. Many people report that after the initial adjustment period, they actually feel energized by the crisp mountain air. For visitors coming from lower elevations, this significant altitude can affect your body in ways you might not expect. We will provide additional details before your arrival to help you have the best experience.
Group Activities in Santa Fe
With the exception of Meow Wolf, all activities are within a 10 minute walk of the hotel. Group transportation will not be provided to Meow Wolf (about a 3 mile, 5 minute ride share from the hotel).
Poetry Exchange
This session invites participants to bring a poem that speaks to them—whether it's a classic work that has shaped their worldview, a contemporary piece that captures something about this moment in time, or a personal creation born from their own experience and imagination.
Hotel Room Types
The Hacienda offers three room types. When you enter the drawing you will be asked to select which room type you would like. King rooms feature one king bed, a sitting area, and a fireplace. Double rooms feature two double beds, a sitting area and a fireplace. King Suites include a living room with a fireplace, bedroom, and patio
Room Shares
If you are attending on your own and wish to share a room, we will match you with a fellow solo attendee.
Additional Nights
Should you wish to extend your stay in Santa Fe, additional nights can be arranged at the Hacienda.
Spa Treatments
The hotel offers a full service spa, and our attendees will receive a 15% discount. Spa times are being held for our group during scheduled free periods. If you wish to reserve a spa treatment, please do so by the end of January. Details on making reservations will be provided to attendees with your event registration details.
Special Dietary Needs/Other Accommodation
Please make note of all requests on the pre-event Google form.
Changes or Cancellations
Due to the nature of the retreat and contractual obligations for events, we are unable to process refunds, however tickets may be transferred to another attendee at no charge.
