Getting to Santa Fe

Flying into Albuquerque (ABQ)

The most common way to reach Santa Fe is to fly into Albuquerque International Sunport, which is about 65 miles south of Santa Fe. The airport offers numerous direct flights from major cities across the country, making it a convenient gateway.

Ground Transportation from Albuquerque

Rental Car: Driving from Albuquerque to Santa Fe takes approximately 60-75 minutes via I-25 North. This option gives you the flexibility to explore the area during the weekend and beyond.  Free parking is available at the hotel.

Shared Shuttle: Groome Transportation offers shared shuttle service between Albuquerque airport and Santa Fe. The shuttles run multiple times daily, and the journey takes about 70-90 minutes depending on the number of stops.  We will provide booking links for Groome as we are working on coordinating shuttle schedules.  They drop off just across from the Hotel Santa Fe.

Train: The New Mexico Rail Runner Express connects Albuquerque and Santa Fe.  Ride share or taxi would take you from the airport to the station.  The train offers a scenic journey through New Mexico's landscape, taking about 90 minutes from Albuquerque's downtown station to Santa Fe.  The train stops in Santa Fe directly across from our hotel.

Flying Direct to Santa Fe (SAF)

Santa Fe Municipal Airport is a smaller regional airport located just southwest of downtown Santa Fe. Direct flight options are limited compared to Albuquerque, but if available from your departure city, this is the most convenient option, putting you just 10-15 minutes from most Santa Fe destinations.
