Eleanor Delilah Bennet is an aspiring novelist, poet, and academic. She was born in New Jersey and lives in northwestern Wisconsin. She studied English Linguistics and Philosophy at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where she graduated with honors in 2022.
Ellie's poetry was first published in May 2022, when two of her poems appeared in UWEC's NOTA publication. Also in May 2022, she published a news article in the student newspaper (using the name Ivy Theophania Athanasius Buchan), and several poems in other small student zines.
Ellie's current projects include several fantasy novels and various poetry. She has completed a first draft of an adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, which she hopes to rework into an improved second draft.
Ellie has also worked with Joe on several projects, contributing poetry to be lyrics whenever she gets the chance.

Joe Sandy (b. 1999) is a composer from Kaukauna, Wisconsin. They earned their Master's in Music Composition from Illinois State University in 2025 and their Bachelor's of Music in 2023 from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
The first public premiere of a collaboration between Joe and Ellie was November 7th, 2023 with his setting of Ellie's poems "The Blood Series." Their polystylistic song cycle stretches the conventions of what a song cycle can be and is scored for baritone, clarinet and piano. The duo collaborated again with Ellie being a co-librettist on Joe's master's thesis project, "The Satyr's Last Lament" which was premiered April 11, 2025.
They were awarded a 2022 Student Faculty Collaborative Research/Creative Grant in which they composed a five-movement orchestral suite and presented on their research, winning Best Undergraduate Research Presentation at UW Oshkosh. They have won two awards from the Wisconsin Alliance for Composers (WAC) in their Student Composition Contest: First Prize in 2020 for their mallet percussion quartet "Yellowed Fan," and Honorable Mention in 2022 for "Home, 2am" a piano and cello duet.
Sandy also composed the score and produced a 2022 documentary "Unconditional: A Journey of Selfless Love" which was a quarterfinalist in the Spokane International Film Festival (SPIFF). They were commissioned to compose a polka commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Little Chute Community Band which was premiered in their summer season 2024, as well as a commission through the Sing Me A Story Foundation, "Defiant Joy," which was premired in March 2025.
Sandy joined the Bloomington-Normal trad jazz band The Sweet Nothings in 2024 and has enjoyed playing accordion and trumpet as well as providing vocals and a little trombone on the side. They are working on both writing an album in collaboration with MTA as well as multiple EPs with The Sweet Nothings and many other side projects. In addition, Sandy enjoys playing a wide variety of instruments, primarily horn and piano but also Baroque recorder and bass ukulele among many others.
