STEP 2:
Create a "Group" for each of your class periods on Ellevation
STEP 3:
Identify the number of students at each proficiency level in your class for each of the four language domains (reading, writing, speaking & listening)
Enter the data into this Level Reference Chart to create a composite view of the skill levels of your students in your class for each of the four language domains. Share this spreadsheet with your supervising administrator.

Over-the-Phone Interpretation + Third Party Dial Out. Provide the parent's name and phone number to the interpreter. The interpreter will merge the calls and if needed or help leave a voicemail.
Propio ONE Mobile App (App Store, Google Play). Designed to help you access audio interpretation services without having to dial a phone number. Also available online.
What you will need to use Propio starting July 1:
Instruction Cards contain your school/site account number and steps on how to use the service over-the-phone and through the Propio ONE platform. Please use these cards for your site specific calling instructions. Printed copies will be delivered to your school in August.

Teachers have access to a multilingual translating tool through Talking Points. This two-way communication tool allows teachers to send text messages to individual parents or a group. It is facilitated by a Clever integration with PowerSchool for constant updating.
Zoom
Call Language Line and ask the interpreter to make the outbound call to join the Zoom meeting. Step-by-step instructions on how to add an audio interpreter to a Zoom video meeting are available here. To help make your Zoom meeting go as smoothly as possible, please plan ahead and collect the following information before you start the session:
Zoom meeting information: phone number, meeting ID and password
This extension adds a button to their browser toolbar so they can click the translate icon whenever they want to translate the page they're visiting. This tool enables students to easily view translations directly on websites. The extension also automatically detects if the language of a page they're on is different from the language they're using for your Google Chrome interface.
