This fall, the Language and Cultural Services launched TalkingPoints across the district to provide schools with a text message translation tool that supports communication and engagement with families in more than 100 languages.
We are excited about what this tool can do and encouraged to see that several of our schools are already utilizing it with success! Since the launch of TalkingPoints, 24,533 individual messages have been sent by teachers, 1,400 by school admins and 27,564 messages have been sent by families.

- You can access your TalkingPoints account through Clever or the TalkingPoints website. Please use this QuickStart Guide to log in to your account.
- School admin accounts have been set up for all principals, assistant principals, parent involvement facilitators, ELD teachers, school secretaries, school clerks, counselors, deans, nurses, and health assistants. As school administrators you have full access to your school.
- All classroom teachers have access to their TalkingPoints account via Clever and have been given access to their class rosters to be able to communicate with their families.
- A TalkingPoints welcome email has been sent to teachers and school administrators. If you have never logged in to TalkingPoints before, please open the welcome email and follow the prompts to first sign in to your TalkingPoints account.
