Professional learning is a crucial element of my ongoing work as an educator. I enjoy engaging in various professional development workshops to refine my skills, and expand my understanding of effective practices. Following an intentional and collaborative practice of continuous learning and exploration of emerging research, my current teaching practice has developed in the following areas: differentiation, mindfulness, social-emotional learning, authentic assessments, use of technology, and documentation. Looking forward, I would like to deepen my understanding of what an authentic culturally responsive curriculum can look like in an early childhood setting.
