Mental Health Triage Service 1300 369 012

For those between the ages of 0 and 64, this is the typical point of entry into our mental health services; those 65 and above can also receive after-hours care. The triage service can be contacted at the above number by clients, carers, and medical professionals to discuss the need for specialised mental health services for residents of our service area. Assessments that are urgent and non-urgent can both be planned by the triage service.

Teams for Crisis Assessment and Treatment

We may arrange access to acute psychiatric inpatient units at Monash Medical Centre Clayton, Dandenong Hospital, and Casey Hospital. We also provide extended hours community-based and 24-hour emergency department-based assessment and treatment of mental illness.

Psychiatric Evaluation and Recovery Care Service

A 10-bed Psychiatric Assessment and Recovery Care Service collaborates with the Eastern Regions Mental Health Association (ERMHA) to provide a residential option to acute mental health admission or to assist people who have been discharged from an acute mental health facility in reintegrating into the community.
