Our humble beginnnings began in 1987
Melbourne, Australia's Monash Medical Centre (MMC) is a teaching hospital. It offers tertiary-level speciality healthcare to Melbourne's south-east.
The largest public health organisation in Victoria, Monash Health, includes Monash Medical Centre.
The Queen Victoria Medical Centre (a general hospital in central Melbourne), Prince Henry's Hospital (a general hospital in South Melbourne), and Moorabbin Hospital (a medical hospital in Moorabbin) were combined to establish Monash Medical Centre in 1987. It was erected where the nursing facility McCulloch House once stood.
