Through the "filter", enemies will look like comical/cartoon human-man hybrids. I want to create something that looks a little wonky or goofy, while their real images or concepts may be based on terrifying eldritch creatures.
Big fish body connected to two athletic looking legs. It runs/walks at you and smack you with its big head.
Most common melee enemy, usually harmless on its own, but could be annoying since they occationally roam as a group.
I plan on getting this guy modeled, textured, and coded by 3/5
Walker's AI and animation blueprint is currently done.
Rigged and animated in UE 5.1
Detailed walkthrough will be posted after 3/12
Tougher enemy, the checkpoint mini boss before unlocking the weapon "pizza-cutter". Its main attacks come from using the saw attached to its enlonged maw that is attacked to its spine. This is also where you'll get your first heavy weapon.
Although he's a miniboss, I plan on getting this done as soon as I've implemented the pizza-cutter weapon. So we're looking at probably also around 3/10 or 3/15.
Basic ranged unit. Fat fish body that is usually lack of mobility. Most of the time when you run into it, it would just be sitting on the ground spitting projectiles at you, but occasionally you would run into a mutation that sits on a cart, which will be running around with higher mobility.
Beamer is just an anglerfish version of spitter, and it shoots laser out of its little lantern.
The first version of spitter could be done around 3/10.
