2. Treatment guidelines (NCCN) of each cancer usually run into more than hundred pages. To complicate it further, there are various molecular tests that need to be performed before taking treatment decisions. An easy to follow and comprehensive algorithm that combines both treatment guidelines and available molecular tests isn’t available or difficult to access. I have created computer programs to solve this problem. At this site, comprehensive algorithm is made available as diagram. The same algorithm is also presented as computer program. As you feed the patient data, the program will help you find the most appropriate molecular test that fits your patient profile. Only molecular tests that may aid in finding prognosis and treatment decisions are included.

How to use the program?

1. Click on the cancer tab below.

2. Please type in the answers in response to the questions prompted by the program.

3. Program will suggest possible answers and you need to make sure that you choose and type in one of the prompted answers with identical spelling and case. In case of a mistake in doing so, please start again.

4. Algorithm and program is developed using NCCN treatment guidelines, accessible TCGA data and research papers. However, the program is only for research purpose and strictly it should not be used to make treatment decisions of actual patients.
