Two new workstations, named as Tesla and Alwar got installed in our lab, now we have three machines in our fleet including the 3 months old Prathama.

SCIENCE & ENGINEERING RESEARCH BOARD (SERB)  approved our Start-up Research Grant (SRG)  proposal on Computational Explorations of Membrane Spanning DNA Nanostructures for Cellular drug delivery. Tentatively approved budget INR 30 Lacks.

IIT Hyderabad approved our research proposal and approved a seed research grant of INR 25 Lacks.

Himanshu taught the first class of his academic career, he will be teaching Biostatistics (BT2023) this semester to B.Tech 2nd year's students.

Priyanka joined  as the first PhD student in our Bionanotechnology  group. Welcome aboard Priyanka. She will investigate the interactions of nanoparticles with biological matter.

Himanshu's collaborative work with Zeng and Aksimentiev group got published in Nano Letters. First publications for Himanshu after joining IIT Hyderabad.

Deepa joined our Bionanotechnology  group as the first M.Tech student, she will be doing her thesis work on modelling the artificial water channels for desalination.  Welcome Deepa !

Our group moved to the 4th floor of the newly constructed Biotechnology building at IIT Hyderabad. The lab space is yet to get the workstations and furniture but we know the room where the future lies and where the big mysteries of the scientific world will unfold :).
