Childhood

When it comes to street photography, it's not centered around how dramatic the picture might look to others. To me, it's always about what it felt like when I captured it. The emotions come first, and everything else follows.

I used to focus on photographing children because their presence is so unique and it makes me feel like looking at a reflection of myself. They comfort me as if there's nothing to worry about. Their emotions and reactions are genuine- no lies, just pure and spontaneous expression.

Seeing their smiles makes me happy and I smile back.

2020 - 2022

This little girl crossed by while I was having coffee, she lifted her scarf and asked me to take a picture of her, but she was in a hurry that I couldn't even know what her name was. But it was a unique moment for my thoughts and feelings! All I can is: "I felt great!". ‐ Khartoum, Sudan 2021
