EXPERIENTIAL MODULE

My Experiential Module contains three parts:

First, I designed material for undergraduate learners’ beginners level in the U.S. the materials based on ACTFL standards for novice low. The course duration is six weeks with 4 hours of teaching every week and based on students’ ability to learn a new language.

Second, I traveled to Seattle, Washington, for a 4 days observation with a one-hour teaching experience. The class was beginner level and around 19 students who are a mix of heritage and non-heritage learners. The age of students between 9-12 or high school students.

Third, I attended a workshop at Michigan state university called teaching language using technology. The workshop was for three days and was an outstanding workshop because everything you learned, you needed to apply and do the same to meet your style and your language.

I used the Kaltura tool to record a lesson for students to view at home before coming to the class, which will save time and effort during the class, and students will be ready for learning and a challenge.
