Ideation

Tell us about your assignment's idea for this week. Why do you care about this idea? What were you inspired by?

my is assignment this week design a 3D model pen holder by 360 fusion and print it by 3D printer in next week .

i searsh in google to watch img for 3D model pen holder and i watch many idea to make it and I modified the idea.

and i watch videos explain the idea.

Tool Chain

Which software/machines/materials did you use this week? Why?

i used 360 fusion to design my 3D model, i used "original prusa i3 mk2s kit 3D printer" to print the pen holer model using material "PLA filament" by using Prusa Slicer software.

Design Process

Explain the design process of your assignment. How did you use the tool/software to design and/or simulate your assignment?

i create a new sketch and i use spline to creat my the shape that i revolve it to make my basic shape that i will modifay it in the next process and i used many features like shell and extrode and split.

Fabrication/Implementation Process

Explain the fabrication/implementation process of your assignment. How did you use the machine/tool to manufacture or implement the design of your assignment?

3D Printing::

1-for software :i used prusaSlicer to edit my first design and get the g-code file to print it ,and make sure The sample 3D model (*.STL) was properly sliced. The file is less than or at the time or weight limit .

2-for tool: I load my .stl file in the machine card and download it and choose the my pen holder name to print it.

3-prepare the machine and make sure for filament and start printing the model.

4- 3D printer start print : first machine make sure for scale of board and start heating the board and filament then start printing.

i asked feedback in the session about the week self practise and the problems i found during learning in the week.

I have continued to search for a solution to a problem I am facing on Google and YouTube.

but I faced problem about the time and grams and a cant fix it .

update: i fixed the problem by minimize the model in prusaSlicer .

Final Project

How can you use the skills and knowledge that you've acquired this week in your final project?

i can use 360 fusion to design some parts in my project and print it by 3D printer.

the coolest thing in this week that i start to like design and make some imazing object by 360 fusion.
