Who we are
Martin Luther King School PTA is a nonprofit organization whose membership includes parents, teachers and staff of Martin Luther King Elementary School, and is also a member of the NATIONAL PTA, and the NEW JERSEY PTA.
MLK PTA supports the following objectives:
To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and cultural heritage.
To raise the standards of home life.
To secure adequate laws for the care and the protection of children and youth.
To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
To develop united efforts between educators and the general public that will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and cultural education to grow leaders of tomorrow.
