Unique Features: Home Run Apple outside (Shea) and the new one (inside), Orange Foul Poles, Tom Seaver statue.

It's pretty cool to see two wins on a doubleheader day! May 3, 2022
Location: Toronto, CAN
Opened: 1989
Unique features: Rogers Centre has a retractable roof and a hotel that have a portion of rooms that have views of inside the stadium during a game/concert. The ballpark's foul poles are actually foul nets
Mascot: Ace, the Bluejay
Rogers Centre looks much better when the roof is opened!
Yankee Stadium: Home of the New York Yankees
Location: The Bronx, NY
Opened: 2009
At a company outing, Jihan and I decided to set aside our differences (she's a hard core Yankees fan and I'm a hard core Mets fan) to take this picture at Yankee Stadium. (left)
Another company outing, and I remember earlier in the day, I donated blood at Citi Field. From my expression, the Yankees must have won against the A's...LOL
In my opinion, there were no real differences between OLD Yankees Stadium and current Yankees Stadium. It's as if they put it through a copy machine and produced an exact copy!
Fenway Park: Home of the Boston Red Sox
Location: Boston, MA
Opened: 1912
Unique Features: Oldest and smallest ballpark, Green monster aka 37 foot wall in the outfield, two named foul poles: Fisk foul pole and Pesky pole (left and right, respectively).
Mascot: Wally, the Green Monster
I did a stadium tour of Fenway with my sisters and also attended a game. I did indeed buy a Red Sox visor, when I went. This was before 2004...
The ballpark is so old that when I sat in my seat, my knees touched the back of the seat in front of me. The stadium felt very cozy as a result of this. Apparently, the fans fill the stadium and it's extremely vibrant each and every game.
Oriole Park at camden Yards, home of the Baltimore Orioles
Location: Baltimore, MD
Opened: 1992
Unique features: Their sun clock displays hits/errors, their walls are not curved, the bullpen is two-tiered, the playing field is apparently 16 feet below street level. As an FYI, some of the upper deck stadium sections do not have cupholders at the seats.
Mascot: The Oriole Bird
Camden Yards set precedent with their retro look. It's one of the nicest ballparks while walking around the entire stadium. I wore their promotional O's army cap and posed with the Chick Fil A mascot that was grazing the stadium that day.
Nationals Park, Home of the Washington Nationals
Location: Washington, D.C.
Opened: 2008
Mascot: Screech, the Eagle
I'm not sure why I was wearing the free promotional Nats cap...
The DC subway has a stop that goes to the stadium.
The ballpark reminded me of a lot of new ballparks that were being built at the time.
PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Opened: 2001
Mascot: Pirate Parrot
PNC Park has perhaps one of the most beautiful backdrops of any stadium I've visited. When I went, they were playing the Mets and Mets won! There was also a post-game fireworks show which made it that much more cooler.
Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Opened: 2004
Unique Features: Liberty Bell that rings after Phillies' homeruns and victories.
Mascot: Phillie the Phanatic
Yes, as a Mets fan, I wore my Mets visor to the ballpark. This was one of a few road games for which I left the game before it officially ended. I remember walking out of the ballpark and finding out that the Reds won. Citizens Bank Park is part of the sports complex in Philly and you can get there via the SEPTA (Philly's train system).
