Part 1:  Introduction to Create a Brochure

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Log in to your Google account.

2. Open Google Drive.

3. Create a new drawing.

4. Rename it.

Part 2: Lay Out Your Brochure

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Change the page size and add vertical lines.

2. Add a text box and insert a category title.

3. Select a font style, size, and color.

4. Add a border and fill color.

5. Copy, paste, and update your text box for the other two panels.

Part 3: Research and Add Facts to the Inside of Your Brochure

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Research facts about your country for three categories.

2. Insert text boxes into each panel.

3. Add at least five facts for each category.

4. Adjust the font size of the text.

Part 4: Create the Outside of Your Brochure

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Make a copy of your first drawing and rename it.

2. Update the text to create the front cover, back cover, and outer flap.

3. Adjust the formatting.

Part 5: Insert Images into Your Brochure

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Search the images online.

2. Make sure you have permission to use the images.

3. Insert at least 3 images into your brochure.

4. Align the images and text.

Part 6: Add Word Art to Your Brochure

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Insert word art and add text.

2. Select a font style, fill and border color, and border thickness.

3. Adjust your word art to fit the panels.

Part 7: Add “Fun Facts” about Your Country to Your Brochure

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Research interesting facts about your country.

2. Add a text box with a new heading and copy and paste the format.

3. Add a text box with at least 3 "Fun Facts" about your country and bullet them.

4. Adjust font sizes.

5. Cite any new sources.
