Hi Everyone!
Alot of people been asking about the due date, the minimum and maximum time for the podcast and the topics you can choose from
Due Date is September 7 (FOR THE FIRST EPISODE) since this assignment was given on August 17.
Minimum time for each podcast episode is 5 minutes. Maximum is 10 minutes.
Each episode should have an intro and outro.
Topics you can choose from depends of what you love to talk about the most, examples are:
-Travel : Talking about locations, countries, or cities or places you visit, what you love about them or information people should know. Geography and maybe trave hacks or advice
-Advice : Giving answers to questions people have to help them understand something, topic is up to you on what you want to give advice about
-Audiobook: Reading a book of your choice out loud chapter by chapter practicing your narration skills
-Current News: By this I mean things going on in the world that are important to you that others should be more aware about, creating awareness of a situation that is important to you is important
-Interviews: You invite a guest to your podcast to speak (fictional or real) and your readers are technically listening in to your conversation, you can be the interviewer to get to know others or the one being interviewed so your audience can get to know you. Practicing asking questions and answering the and communication is important as you keep growing as a community.
- Book /Film/ Tv Show Reviews: This is were you give a good summary and personal comments of the entertainment media of your choice, helping your audience to get a preview of what the book or film or tv might be about or maybe it's just you recommending your favorite films to your audience telling them why its once of the must sees in your list. Practicing your Rating , giving in your own word summaries and persuasive conversation skills
- A Glimpse in the Life Of ___ : This type of podcast is more like a journal or blog of either a real person or fictional character. This is to practice creating daily biographies or personal writing
-Food Recipes: Talking about step by step recipes of meals or desserts you like to share. Can even add images.
-Musical: Using your podcast to practice your singing or playing of an instruments, sharing your final pieces or compositions you make or lyrics you create.
-Story Writing: You can write your own story and narrate your chapters or just treat each podcast episode like a 5 minute short story narration, creating a new short story for each episode.
-Historical Event: If you love history, talking about written historical events in your own words and researching even more to engage your audience might help you increase knowledge and ways to comunicate what your love to learn about.
-Animals/ Habitats: If you talk about an animal, their diet, where they live, what they do, its like your own personal animal planet where you get to let people know more information about animals you love or want to create more awareness of, might even be endangered species
- Teach a Language: If you are creating a podcast to teach others about a certain language you are learning, you can start with basic words, working your way up to sentences and until fully being fluent, we go on the same journey as you learn and we learn with you.
And many more topics to choose from. If you have doubts about a topic and not sure if its a good idea, communicate it to me and we will be able to find a topic you feel more comfortable to talk about.
Please remember you are to use appropriate language at all times, gossiping about other people is not allowed or bad mouthing (even if its a comedy podcast it isn't allowed), showing respect to your audience and yourself at all times.
