Interactive Sessions
※2020/06/24 MIRU2020のインタラクティブ発表はZoomを使って実施します。「提出物」の項目に「インタラクティブセッションポータルサイト」のイメージ図を公開しました。
ご提出いただく「サムネイル画像」や「スポットライト動画」の掲載イメージをご確認いただけます。今後も「発表の仕方」「Web会議ツールの詳細」等、決定次第随時アップデートしてまいります。
全ての口頭発表論文・一般論文は、インタラクティブセッションでWeb会議ツール（Zoom）を用いてインタラクティブ発表を実施いただきます。
Every Oral / General Paper will be given an opportunity to make an interactive presentation using Zoom in a "Live Interactive Session".
発表形式 (Presentation format)
発表者は、自身の発表が割りてられた「ライブインタラクティブセッション」の時間中、Zoomに参加いただき、参加者の皆さんと直接議論を行っていただきます。セッションの割り当てはプログラムにて後日公開いたします。
発表に使用する素材は自由です。ポスター形式でご用意いただいても、スライド形式や動画でプレゼンテーションを頂いても構いません。ただし、あくまで参加者との議論を行うセッションですので、一方的な発表にならないようご配慮ください。
なお、オンライン開催に伴い、例年募集しておりましたデモ発表の募集は取りやめ、インタラクティブセッションに統合することにいたしました。インタラクティブセッションでも魅力的なデモの実演を歓迎します。スポットライト動画も公開できますので、ご活用ください。
Speakers will be invited to discuss directly with participants using a web conferencing tool during the "Live Interactive Session" in which their presentation is assigned. Check out the program for the assignments.
Any materials can be used for the presentation; you may use a poster, slides, or even a video for your presentation. Whatever material you use, this session is intended for discussion with participants. Try to make your presentation as interactive as possible!
As this year's MIRU is going a full virtual conference, we have decided not to call for Demos and to marge them into Interactive Presentations. We encourage the speakers to perform attractive demonstrations in "Live Interactive Sessions". Spotlight Video can also be published for facilitating the presentation, as described below.
提出物 (Materials to be Submitted)
当日はセッション内の発表を一覧可能な特設ページ（下図参照）を参加者に公開いたします。これに伴い、下記提出物をご作成の上、EasyChairよりご提出ください。締切は2020年7月10日（金）です。
During MIRU2020, a special web page will be made available for all the participants to overview all the presentations in the session. For this purpose, all the authors are asked to prepare the following materials and submit them to EasyChair. The deadline is July 10, 2020.
1. サムネイル画像（提出必須） (Thumbnail Image; mandatory)
論文の特徴を表すサムネイル画像をアップロードしてください。サムネイル画像は会期中に公開される発表一覧ページを通じて参加者に公開されます。
アスペクト比は4:3、ファイルサイズの上限は10MBです。
受け付ける画像ファイルフォーマットはJPEG (*.jpeg/*.jpg) です。
Upload a thumbnail image that describes your paper. It should be no more than 10MB and of 4:3 aspect ratio. It will be published in the web page for participants. The file format should be jpeg/jpg.
2. スポットライト動画 （提出任意） (Spotlight Video; optional)
発表の要点やデモの様子などを効果的にプレゼンテーションするスポットライト動画を作成し、アップロードしてください。動画は会期中に公開される発表一覧ページを通じて、参加者に公開されます。
動画の長さは30秒まで、ファイルサイズの上限は10MB50MBまでです。
受け付ける動画ファイルはMPEG4 videoのみ（拡張子はmpgまたはmp4）、サイズは16:9です。それ以外の動画フォーマットの場合はffmpegやオンラインコンバータなどでMPEG4 videoに変換してください。これら以外の動画は、公開されない可能性があります。
Upload your short movie that is no more than 30 seconds and 10MB50MB. It will be published in the web page for participants. Your movie should be MPEG4 video (extensions are mpg or mp4) and aspect ratio of 16:9. Other video format should be converted to MPEG4 video by using ffmpeg or online video converter.
特設ページ「インタラクティブセッションポータルサイトのイメージ図」 (Illustration of Interactive Session Portal Site)
当日のインタラクティブセッションでは、下記イメージ図に示すような「インタラクティブセッションポータルサイト」を公開します。サムネイル画像やスポットライト動画は下記のように掲載されますので、確認の上ご作成をお願い致します。
To facilitate smooth interactive discussions, "Interactive Session Portal Site" as shown in the image below will be made publicly available. The thumbnail images and spotlight videos are displayed as in the way the figure shows.
発表の仕方 (How to make a presentation)
セッション時間中、各ポスター個別に割り当てられたZoomのルームに待機いただき、参加者の皆さまと議論を頂きます。
- 1分程度で内容全体を説明できるよう、ご準備いただくことをおすすめいたします。
- 「スポットライト動画」をご提出いただくことを強く推奨いたします。
事前に正常に接続できること、音声通話が可能であること、資料が正常に共有できることをご確認いただくようお願いいたします。公式サイトからテストいただけます。詳細はこちら。
また、MIRU2020でも開催2～3日前に別途接続確認・リハーサルのタイミングをご提供する予定です（参加任意）。詳細は後日ご連絡いたしますので、今しばらくお待ちください。
During the session, authors will be asked to stay in the assigned Zoom room for discussion with participants. We strongly recommend each author prepare to explain the entire content in around one minute and submit a "spotlight video".
Make sure that you are able to connect, make conversations, and share presentation materials before the session. Zoom provides the official test page.
We are also planning to offer an opportunity to check connection/rehearsal a few days before MIRU2020 (optional). Details will be announced later.
録画・録音・撮影等について (Photography by audiences)
セッション中の発表素材や発表の様子などを録画・録音・撮影することは原則禁止といたします。希望する場合は、各著者に確認の上、自己責任で実施いただくようお願いいたします。
It is basically prohibited to record/photograph the presentation materials during the session. Please confirm with the speaker(s) if you wish to do so at your own risk.
