Description:
Season's Beatings is a 2D 2-4 player competitive, action, co-op game. It is a game inspired by Bennett Foddy's Getting Over It, submitted for the Global Game Jam 2024.
Your favorite seasons go head to head, hammer to hammer. This is the game you have been looking for, in Season's Beatings you and your friends fight to the bitter end, until the one with the last head is Victorious!

During the game jam, I created 4 characters and later we, as a team, decided to continue this project after the jam and updated the assets and created more characters.
Characters are exaggerated and based off seasonal holidays - Halloween, Christmas, Easter, St Patrick's Day, Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day. Each character design has themes relating to their season, including their hammer design, environment map, and environment props.

Every character has a base with their body and a detachable head. They move around with thier hammer, which I later redesigned for each character.
