This is NTH Badminton Team, where I belong to. I spend most of the time in high school playing here. Consistently, I do 2 sessions a week, each for an hour at the noon. Although it may seems taxing to skip a nap, I really enjoy doing so.
Here are my team pages:
If you ask us whether we get tired after each practice, the answer is definitely: Yes! — exhausted and out of breath!
But if you ask whether we have fun? Absolutely: We have a blast!
Every training session is full of energy — from the very first warm-up to the final smashes. Everyone stays focused, trying to perfect each technique and every footwork. But that doesn’t mean things get too serious. In fact, the court is always filled with laughter, cheers, and even a few playful screams when we miss an easy shot.
The failed smashes, the goofy mistakes, and the friendly punishments we race to complete — all turn every session into unforgettable memories.
🎬 Let’s watch this short video to feel the true vibe of our team: training hard, laughing harder, and making every moment count!
In 2025, our NTH Badminton Team opened its casting for new members—and I got the honor of being the poster face. The official A5 flyer featured me mid-air in a jump smash, symbolizing the speed, energy, and passion of our team.
It felt special seeing my photo represent not just myself, but the whole spirit of NTH Badminton: youth, resilience, and the love of the game.
This video takes you along with my badminton group on a trip to Đầm Sen Water Park. For us, badminton isn’t just about playing—it’s also about bonding, hanging out, and enjoying time together off the court.
We had a simple but meaningful surprise for our coach’s birthday. She had no idea we knew, so we secretly planned it. When the time came, we gently knocked on her door while she was resting, and invited her out to celebrate. The hand sign you see — ‘CL’ — stands for Cầu Lông (Badminton) and is our club’s special sign.
On the last day with our Grade 12 teammates, we held a small but heartfelt celebration. We even designed and gave them a certificate for being part of our badminton team — a little keepsake to remember us by. Signing each other's shirts is also a tradition where we live, and it made the moment even more special. That day, we didn’t focus on playing; instead, we gathered to enjoy our final moments together before saying goodbye to our seniors.
This was me in grade 10, my first year after successfully joining the team through the casting rounds. At the beginning, I didn’t really know everyone yet, and was a bit shy interacting with the team. But as time went on, we grew close and built strong bonds. While we kept the training competitive to improve our badminton skills, we also became so comfortable with each other that every rally felt fun and relaxed. Even during these fun rallies, we still pushed each other to improve every day. Playing together was not just about practicing, but also about enjoying the game with good friends
This was the casting day for new members. I was in grade 11 at that time, and for the first time, I had the chance to help cast and evaluate others. It felt a bit strange to be on the other side of the process, remembering how nervous I was when I first tried out. Now, I could help welcome the next generation into our team.
This summer, instead of just playing matches and sweating it out on court, our NTH Badminton Team decided to do something different — a bonding day to refresh, connect, and just have fun together!
We went to Thảo Cầm Viên, which is basically like a zoo and botanical park. To make things exciting, our team leader and vice leader came early to set up a “shuttle treasure hunt” around the park. Each team had four members, and we had to solve riddles to figure out where our team’s colored shuttle was hidden. The clues weren’t super easy — we really had to think!
While wandering around the zoo solving puzzles, we had a lot of fun moments. For example, we found another team’s shuttle and tried to “camouflage” it with a leaf (even though the rules said no stealing, we didn’t move it — just made it harder to spot 😏). In the end, we didn’t win, but our team still got ice cream and drinks as a treat, and it felt like a win anyway.
This bonding day reminded me that our team isn’t just about badminton. It’s about friendship, teamwork, and creating memories beyond the court. I’m glad we had this experience together.
As part of our bonding day, each of us received some adorable badminton-themed gifts — a mini racket and shuttle keychain, a team pin, and a printed photo together. I truly appreciate these thoughtful little things. I’ve pinned the badge onto my school backpack and hooked the keychain on too — it’s like carrying a piece of the team with me every day. Love this team so much. These small moments and memories mean the world.
Played in my school’s badminton tournament at THPT Nguyễn Thượng Hiền. Reached the semi-final and took it to a third set against Xuân Đức.
It was even until my leg cramped mid-set. Lost the semi, then lost the match for third place right after.
Annoying part is I know I could’ve taken third. But it is what it is.
Still ended up on stage with the team—we basically took all the badminton prizes. Sadly, I got no medal, just a certificate. It's a consolation prize.
Selected for my school’s badminton team to compete at the city level for the first time. We had a Lễ Ra Quân before leaving—got a small red envelope from the school, simple but memorable.
The competition clashed with my final term tests. I hesitated for a bit, but decided to go anyway. I can retake the "easier" test. Opportunities like this don’t come often.
I’m not at that level yet, so I’m going in with one goal: learn and see how far I can keep up.
