Studies have shown that reading helps kids develop social skills at an earlier age, grow a better understanding of the world around them, and have a more creative imagination. Plenty of kids however, show very little interest in reading. These reluctant readers may get very frustrated when they're asked to read, and may need some convincing to sit down and pick up a book.
