Principal Investigator

Sourav De, a senior member of IEEE, is an Assistant professor at National Tsing Hua University's College of Semiconductor Research. He is also associated with the Institute of Electro-Optical Science and Technology at National Taiwan Normal University. At National Cheng Kung University's Institute of Microelectronics, Sourav De obtained his PhD in microelectronics. Following his doctorate, he was employed at Fraunhofer-Institut für Photonische Mikrosysteme IPMS - Center Nanoelectronic Technologies as a research staff member. His areas of interest in the study are the convergence of semiconductor memory devices, material science, and circuit design for next-generation computing. He focuses on using the inherent physical properties of emerging non-volatile devices to mimic the brain's computing primitives in mixed signal neuromorphic systems.
