A teacher, Baldi, with anger issues gets upset when someone fails his class. At the last day of school, a kid who is naughty, and failed Mr. Baldi's class, comes back after school to get his notebooks he forgot. Baldi and a couple others are still there after hours. Baldi makes him do an assignment out of nowhere hoping he actually learned something. Eventually, the kid makes an error and Baldi finally snaps. The kid has to get all of his notebooks avoiding Baldi and many other obstacles. The school doors are locked so he can't escape and the school is like a labyrinth of insanity. As the kid goes on, the school seems like its starting to drift from reality, turning into a matrix of madness...
