The Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railroad (BNSF) does not have any painted heritage units as of 2021. However, the railroad has several locomotives still sporting Santa Fe and BN paint schemes. There are other units of interest as well, such as Executive schemed MACs and BNSF Warbonnets.

BNSF 637 which is still painted as an ATSF warbonnet trails on NS 143 sitting at the Vaughn connection ready to come off the New Castle District on a cold, cloudy day.
BNSF 732 a "Fakebonnet" serves as a mid-DPU in front of an H2 scheme locomotive on NS 143 heading for Chattanooga, TN.
BNSF 777 trails on NS 34J on the NS Chicago Line heading towards Elkhart, IN. This was an unexpected catch while waiting for the UP 1982 heritage unit.
A BNSF Dash 9 still in the old Heritage 1 (H1) paint scheme trails on CSX G126 through Wildwood, FL headed for Tampa, FL on the Wildwood Subdivision.
BNSF H1 scheme number 1097 heads Southbound across the bridge by the old B&O building in Cincinnati, OH. You can see the box on the conductor's side still has the old Warbonnet paint on it.

I have included this section to show off the different common paint schemes seen on BNSF locomotives that are not considered special interest units.
