Participate in a day of activities focused on environmental conservation at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium. There are limited spots available for this field trip. Sign up for a chance to participate by April 17. 

143 day is a day of kindness and neighborhood celebrating in honor of Mr. Rogers on the 143rd day of the year. On this day, schools encourage community and kindness, and HMS has planned some activities leading up to 143 Day to remind our students of the impact a tiny act of positivity can have on the life of another person. Be ready for lunchtime kindness activities on May 26 and tutorial workshops May 18-22! Students can wear a hat to school on May 22 for a $1 donation to the Senior Hearts Animal Rescue

There are many different workshops happening during tutorial in the last quarter. Check the whiteboard outside of the Maker Studio and the morning announcements to find out what is happening each week. Workshops include:

If you are good at creatively solving problems, the Spontaneous Problem Solving Club might be for you! We’ll meet in the Robotics Studio from 2:45-3:45. Students must have a ride home at 3:45.
