Project Description
Our team has developed a comprehensive instructional unit aimed at bridging the learning gap for those new to Educational Technology. We created a multimedia presentation that empowers our audience to understand the role of educational technologists, explore career opportunities, and gain insights into salary ranges within the field. This unit is specifically designed to inform both students and employers about the Educational Technology program at the University of Texas, Rio Grande Valley.
Standards Met
This project demonstrates proficiencies in the following AECT standards: Standard 1 – Content Knowledge, Standard 2 – Content Pedagogy, Standard 3 – Learning Environments, Standard 4 – Professional Knowledge and Skills, and Standard 5 – Research. The chart below illustrates the performances that fulfill the AECT standards.
Modifications Made
We made several adjustments to our project, including shortening lengthy pages to enhance readability and ensure a more user-friendly experience. Over the weeks, we maintained open and effective communication within our team to improve our web page and multimedia presentation organization systematically. Through this collaborative process, we also developed and refined our skills in building and optimizing these digital resources, resulting in a more cohesive and professionally presented final product.
