Writing in the Clouds -Free open writing time for all ages

Fuel for our mind often comes from the smallest chance encounter or the food we eat. We will explore how small changes can make big differences in our writing. Students will overcome that blank page by having a first sentence and practice revision through a fun activity using fortune cookies.

We will consider ways writers self-sabotage, creating internal barriers to accomplishing writing projects; then shift to how main characters thwart their goals by giving too much power to their inner critics. We will discuss strategies for overcoming these challenges.
