Spalding Product Extension Marketing Plan
ADMS 3210: Consumer Behaviour
For this project, our group had to analyze a chosen product from an existing company. We were responsible for analyzing the target market for the product, evaluating the company's current communications strategy, and proposing a product extension that aligns with the needs of the existing target market. This proposal also includes a communication strategy for the extension. The company our group chose was Spalding, and the product we analyzed was the Momentous EZ Assembly 54" Portable Basketball Hoop. For the product extension, our group made a Smart Shot Tracker, which allows the user to view detailed data about their basketball shots. Our group applied many different marketing concepts and theories learned through this Consumer Behaviour course into our marketing plan, which we then had to present to the class.
