The class got to experience a Harvard Business team-building simulation in climbing Mt. Everest. Each team member was assigned a role on the team with win conditions, personal and overall, and some drawbacks that may affect them and the team. My team attempted the climb twice, succeeding both trials by having more than half of the team reach the summit.
Case Study #1: Clear Communication: Compensation Strategies for When Students Just Don’t Understand by Brian J. Rybarczyk and answered the corresponding questions within the document. This project was designed to promote my ability to assess a situation, evaluate the potential options and then develop goals and solutions. Two teachers have received feedback from their students and you must help guide them to new opportunities based around their drawbacks.
I was tasked to create and share a vision of e-learning for a workplace, generate a technology plan that supports that vision, and write a proposal seeking funding for all or part of the plan. This included my personal vision of how my workplace at the time will revitalize their professional development into in the near future with an E-learning plan and a funding proposal for this plan. I described my workplace's gamified professional development and its multiple flaws and how I could improve it.
