Awards: Nominee for 2024-5 All-State Massachusetts High School Journalism Staff, nominee for 2024-5 Massachusetts High School Journalist of the Year. Awarded Gallery of Excellence from Walsworth Yearbooks for 2023-2024 Regulus Yearbook.
ARTS AND MEDIA PRODUCTION
Digital Filmmaking, Columbia University Pre-College Program, New York, NY July - August 2024
Collaborated with peers on 3 short films: 2 films under two minutes and a five-minute film, Hugo and Ivy.
Directed photography and edited Hugo and Ivy. Operated DSLR cameras and used Premiere Pro to create the final cut.
Painting from Observation, MassArt Summer Intensives Program, Cambridge, MA July - August 2023
Studied acrylic painting for 4 hours a day for 2 weeks. Participated in workshop critiques. Finished 13 pieces.
Regulus Yearbook, Newton South High School September 2022 - Present
As Editor-in-Chief, organize weekly meetings, manage design team, lead weekly trainings for new staff. Created a style guide and “How To”s for design, photography, and content. Doubled Instagram following through weekly posts.
As Managing Editor of Design, led a team of 6 and delegated tasks based on their focus (Design, Content, or Photo). Laid out and copyedited 10 pages of club photos, interviewed students for pull quotes in the Index pages.
As staff member, interviewed faculty and students for 9 spreads. Created color palettes, infographics in Walsworth.

Search school archives for costumes, organize costume fittings, and make alterations for 3 productions every year.

Guest Service Representative, Nothing Bundt Cakes August 2022 - Present
Train new staff, process payments, and decorate cakes for customers throughout the Greater Boston Area.

2023: T-Ville Trails, with 5 other counselors, coordinated and led activities for 15 second-graders.

Youth Soccer Referee, Newton Girls Soccer Spring 2022
Refereed weekly youth soccer games for six- to ten-year-olds while providing encouragement and assistance.

Volunteer, STEM for Everyone December 2023 - Present
2024-5: as tutor supervisor, coordinate introductions between tutor and parents and advise tutors on best practices.
2023-4: as tutor, assisted a 5th-grade student on Zoom, helping with weekly algebra, geometry, and graphing homework.
