MHYC Crow's Nest 

Junior Sailing Program

Mentor Harbor Yachting Club has offered the Crow's Nest Sailing Program, affectionately known as "Sail Camp," for more than 75 years. Our goal is to develop boaters for life by teaching kids to sail with happy hearts, practice new skills, build confidence, learn about navigation and the weather’s impact on boating. We also have a ton of fun on and off the water - playing, exploring, and developing friendships for life at the beach, on the courts, playing four-square, and more. Plus, our campers experience real-life STEM concepts in action! We learn about the sport of sailing by improving Seamanship and competing in the Series races, working together with Sportsmanship, and showing respect and appreciation of the equipment with Shipshape. Crow's Nest is open to members of the Club and the community. No boating experience required. Simply bring a lifejacket, closed-toed shoes, sunscreen, and lunch.

Reserve your spot for up to 6 weeks in the Summer of 2026!

Create a new account if you are a first-time camper. Pre-registration fees are paid to the Club, with the remaining amount due in January.
