The purpose of this assignment is to engage in an in-depth examination and critique of a given approach to research. In small groups (groups assigned/organized by the instructor), select one approach to research. Each group must pick a different approach. Working in your small groups, define and describe the approach, describe when it is appropriate to employ such an approach, describe strengths, weakness, validity issues, and assumptions. Provide a practical example of the approach to help illustrate your understanding of the material. Each group will be responsible for leading the discussion on their topic area during weeks 10 and 11.
