Become an Officer

There are typically 6-8 officer positions. The advisors can change the amount of positions depending on what they think is needed. 

President

The Presidents job is to preside over meetings, appoint committees, coordinate chapter activities, and to represent the chapter in Public Relations. 

Vice President

The Vice President is responsible for the Program of Activities,  preside over the chapter when the President is absent, in charge of all the committees, and assist the Presidents at all times. 

Secretary

The Secretaries duties are to prepare agendas and minutes for all meetings. They also maintain member attendance and activity records, as well as keep the POA up to date.

Treasurer

The duties of the Treasurer are to receive, record, and deposit FFA funds and receipts, present Treasurer's Report, and maintain the FFA Chapter Treasurer's Book.

Reporter

The Reporter´s responsibilities are to plan public information programs with local radio, television, newspaper, and clubs. They are to release news updates and information to the community, publish a newsletter, and more. 

Sentinel

The Sentinel is in charge of keeping the meeting room and paraphernalia in proper condition.  They are to welcome guests and visitors, keep the meeting room comfortable, and assist with special features. 

Historian

The Historian keeps a record of the past and present activities of the chapter and its members. Their duties also include organizing the chapter scrapbook and be a good reference on chapter history.

Student Advisor

A Student Advisor is to assist the advisors, supervise chapter activities, inform prospective students/parents about FFA,  build a community and support system, and more.
