Carolyn Griffith-Werner was resident of the Children's Homes from 1947 to 1953
Carolyn G. Werner, 88, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Walter T. Werner Jr. Born October 10, 1935, in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret Griffith. Carolyn worked as a key punch operator at Lehigh University. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Carolyn was a member of the Red Hat Society and a garden club. She enjoyed making ceramics. Survivors: daughters, Lisa Doan and husband, Chester, and Beth Miller and husband, Mark; son, Scott Werner and wife, Paulette; granddaughters, Katelynn, Allison, and Victoria; great-grandchildren, Harrison and Brooke; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Dale, and sister, Joan. Services: A prayer service will be held on Thursday, April 4th at 11:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
