Hi! I am Reya Marisse Chua Abing, a registered librarian. I graduated Bachelor of Library and Information Science in University of San Jose - Recoletos (USJR) last 2014 and passed the Licensure Examination for Librarians last 2016. I am currently studying my Master's Degree in Library and Information Science in Cebu Normal University (CNU).
I am married with my beloved husband Mr. Danilo Abing on January 28, 2015 and I have one daughter named Christine Mary Abing, 6 years old.
I am now the Head Librarian of Matias H. Aznar Memorial College of Medicine, Inc. Learning Commons Department. This is my first to lead the medical library of this institution. And yet I am very much thankful to the support of my parents, my husband, my kid and to the administrators. I am looking forward along with my library staff, we will be able to deliver the success of MHAM College of Medicine.
I used the color GREEN because this color symbolized MHAM College of Medicine. It also symbolizes calmness and prosperity.
Before I end this presentation, I would like to say a big thank you to my professor of LIS 207, Ms. Mae Rivera for sharing her knowledge and expertise on Information Technology especially the GDrive which I am novice to this application. I would like also to say thank you to all my LIS 207 classmates and friends for sharing their ideas and thoughts on the subject.
