1. Students should present their library card to the entrance checker.
2. Upon leaving the library, every user is expected to present his or her things for inspection to whoever is on the exit.

8. Students caught for any acts of vandalism like markings, mutilating or willful destruction of books, journals, newspapers and other library materials and stealing will be severely dealt with depending on the gravity of the offense, either by:
a.) replacement of the materials plus processing charges
b.) suspension of library privileges
9. Used books must be left on the table after use except for books "On Reserve Section" that needs to be returned on the counter.
10. Violations of the rules and regulations of the library shall not be excused on the pleas of IGNORANCE.
1. On borrowing library materials every student is required to personally present his library card regardless of whether he is known or not to the librarian or library staff on duty as being officially enrolled in MHAM College of Medicine for the current semester.

2. In checking out the resources, the student is expected to write his full name clearly on the book card and surrender his library card to be attached on the book card. However, magazines, journals, researches and non-print materials are for library used only.
3. All library materials taken out of the library must be returned to the charging desk by the person borrowing them.
4. Borrowed books may be returned on or before the due date. Renewal is allowed twice unless there is a prior request by another borrower.
5. Students and faculty members are allowed to borrow 2 books and 3 books respectively at a time.
6. Books for overnight loans during week days (Monday to Friday) may be taken out of the library starting at 5:30 pm. These books must be returned on the following service day, or the first class day immediately following holiday, not later than 9:00 am.
7. Fine for circulation of reserve books after 9:00 am is PhP 5.00, increasing at PhP 1.00 for each item per hour (a total of PhP 16.00 per day). For general circulation books outside of the Reserve Section, fines for overdue is PhP 10.00 per day. Faculty members are also included in this provision.
8. A minimal fee of PhP 50.00 is required of an outside researcher who wants to avail of the library to satisfy inter-library service.
9. When a books in print is lost or damage, the borrower is required to replace the lost or damage books with the latest edition plus the fine up to the time of reporting the loss plus PhP 30.00 to defray the expenses for cataloging. The library personnel will help facilitate the procurement of the book to be replaced but never accept money for the purchase. Transaction will be done by the borrower and the book dealers.
10. When the lost books is out of print, it can be replaced with any book on related subject of latest edition with the cost not lesser than the lost book. The library personnel will decide what title will replace based on the needs of the users.
11. Photocopied book will never be accepted as replacement.

1. The library offers free internet service for e-books and e-journals (Clinical Key) to all students and faculty members.

1. Photocopying of the whole book is an infringement of the Intellectual Property Right (IPR) of the author and is prohibited. However "FAIR USE Policy" (allowing a portion of the book which will not hamper the economic right of the author) is observed.

2. All valuable personal belongings must be brought along with the owners before depositing their bags. The library personnel will not be held accountable for whatever losses incurred from the deposited bags.

4. No deposit bags shall be released unless number tags are returned. Lost number tags is charged PhP 20.00. If found later, no refund is given.
5. Everyone is obliged to deposit her bag every time he enters the library and claim on the same date whatever he deposited. Unclaimed bags will be charged PhP 100.00 per day.
