Persatuan Perawat Nasional Indonesia (PPNI), the Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI), which was born as a professional organization on March 17, 1974, was present as a forum for the struggle to improve the professionalism and welfare of nurses. Before 1974, the nursing organization in Indonesia had developed rapidly in line with its era. Since the colonial era, Indonesian nurses have existed along with the existence of the Vpabst Resident Hospital (1819) in Batavia, which at that time changed to Stadsverband (1919) and changed to CBZ (Central Burgerlijke Zieken Inrichting) in the Salemba area, which is currently RSCM. Along with the changing times and advances in information technology in the field of health services, the professionalism of nurses has been increasingly improved
