Setting up farm accounts is critical to saving time and upgrading your main account's power level. The game provides many events in which players can get resources and rewards for FREE. With each farm account you have access to these free rewards, especially if they are resources that can be transferred. Your farm accounts will largely focus on activities that yield grain, obsidian, stone, and silver that can be stored in your inventory. All other activities are considered overhead, and consume time that could be spent elsewhere.
On a PC, the game allows you to manage up to 5 accounts. Your first account is your main account. The other 4 accounts can be your farm accounts. It is most optimal to have either 2 or 4 farm accounts.
The reason for an even number of farm accounts is largely due to the number of rallies you can run against resource bearing undead camps. Since grain, obsidian, stone, and silver are provided ONLY through damage loot and not victory loot, you want to have as much of the damage loot go to your farm account.
1 farm account - you are dependent on other players for undead camp rallies, and you must share the damage loot with others.
2 farm accounts - you are independent, and can run 3 undead camp rallies and keep all the damage loot to yourself.
3 farm accounts - you are independent, and can run 4 undead camp rallies but have to switch accounts (what a hassle)
4 farm accounts - you are independent, and can run 6 undead camp rallies and have a factory going.
Rally against undead camp for damage loot is shown below. The damage loot is divided amongst the rally participants based on their individual damage contribution.
Level 27 Camp - 960K Stone + 300 min speedup
Level 28 Camp - 270K Silver + 300 min speedup
Level 29 Camp - 5.4M Grain + 300 min speedup
Level 30 Camp - 5.4M Obsidian + 300 min speedup
Level 31 Camp - 1.2M Stone + 400 min speedup
Level 32 Camp - 300K Silver + 400 min speedup
If rally participant X deals 25% damage, and participant Y deals 75% damage against a Level 28 camp, then X will receive 67.5K silver, while Y will receive 202.5K silver.
See sample loot received from an undead camp rally below. Notice that only the damage loot yields resources, while victory loot does not. It may be possible to use the victory look in some event to receive damage loot (i.e. Crystals in Alliance Crunch challenge).
Comparison between Undead Camp and Level 5 Mob (w/ Aristocrat Chest) loot
To put this in perspective, 1 Aristocrat Chest can give either (a) 2.5M Grain, (b) 2.5M Obsidian, (c) 500K Stone, (d) 125K Silver. If you have to get 1 Aristocrat Chest from a Level 5 mob it will require a team of Level 30s players. Chances are that your farm alliance does not have strong players that you can rally against Level 5 mobs successfully. It is much easier to kill undead camps than level 5 mobs.
Step 1: Login to your main account
Step 2: Navigate to Profile >> Settings
Step 3: Select Account >> Start New Game
Step 4: Select your Kingdom (e.g. 10165) >> Start New Game
Step 5: Press Confirm
Step 6: A new game will launch. Play until you are able able to view your lord's profile.
Step 7: Change the Lord's name (i.e. main character name + farm or whatever). If there are kingdom-specific best practices for identifying farms, use the appropriate naming convention.
The next time you launch Stormshot Application from your desktop select either [+ Multi-Instance] or [ Switch Accounts ] button. In the Select Account window, scroll down to the account your want to play and press [ Play ]
Step 8: Repeat above step for each farm account you want to create.
Use gift codes to level up your farm account quickly. It will save time, and hopefully you can get your farm up to level 16 or 17 in no time.

There may be additional gift codes that are active depending on the season (i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.)
Recommended levels for your buildings:
Stronghold (level 17) -- High enough for troops, low enough to go under the radar from outside poachers.
Barracks (level 16) -- Train and/or upgrade troops to Type 6
Artillery Foundry (level 16) -- Train and/or upgrade troops to Type 6
Stables (level 16) -- Train and/or upgrade troops to Type 6
Shooting Range (level 16) -- Train and/or upgrade troops to Type 6
Academy (level 17)
Embassy (level 15+)
Hall of War (level 15+)
Warehouse (low) -- keep this level low, since resources need to transfer to your main.
Keep your farm, obsidian mine, stone quarry, and silver mine at minimum level required to upgrade other buildings.
All other buildings can remain at low levels.
Lord Talent : War
The farm will be focused on hunting camps, and thus must make sure its rallies do not fail. The preferred talent is WAR, and NOT ECONOMY. However, if you have different goals in mind, select what best meets your goal.
Sea Master : Offense
Always remember to level up your Sea Master's offensive and defensive skills. These will support all your rallies (with or without the Airship War Master).
Airship
Always remember to level up your Airship. This will support your primary rally usually against a tougher or higher level undead camp.
Your farm should perform the minimal set of activities required to accumulate as much resources as possible in the least amount of time. If you have multiple farms, launch 2 farm accounts from the Stormshot launcher application at a time.
The screenshot below shows two farm accounts launched in separate windows.
Activity 1: Harvest your estate resources (< 1 min)
Activity 2: Heal troops (< 1 min)
Your troops may have injuries from past marches, rallies, or even a poacher. Heal your troops so they don't fail in rallies. A failed rally needs to be restarted, and costs time.
Activity 3: Train and/or Upgrade Troops ( < 1 mins)
Upgrade or train troops enough to level 6, so you can evenly distribute them across rallies and not lose in a rally. A level 28 undead camp is much easier to defeat than a level 31 undead camp.
Upgrading a Troop
Use upgrade button to upgrade a lower level troop to a higher level.
Activity 4: Run your Undead Camp Rallies ( < 3 mins)
If you have 2 farm accounts, make sure both farm accounts are running in separate windows (or devices) -- whatever works easier for you. Your rallies should consist of ONLY 2 players, any more is poor use of your stamina with diminishing returns.
Your lord or adventurer has a maximum of 500 stamina. Each undead camp rally cost 150 stamina. You will be able to run 3 rallies simultaneously, assuming you have sufficient number of troops in each rally.
Use Equalize option to send only a portion of your troops to the undead camp.
Your other farm account will join the rally you just started.
You can choose to use [Equalize] option to send a portion of its troops, or you can send 1 troop. The decision is yours, but also depends on whether your troops are sufficient to kill the undead camp or not.
Approach 1: Equalize Troop Rally -
Loot is more evenly distributed between your two farms.
Chances of killing undead farm are higher while running 3 rallies concurrently.
Approach 2: Solo Troop Rally -
Loot goes to one of your farms.
Chances of killing undead farm depends on your primary farm. You may or may not be able to run 3 rallies concurrently.
Note:
DO NOT QUICK JOIN RALLYS - If you do, you may find yourself joining someone else's rally that are either too powerful and you will not get much damage loot OR are too far away and you will miss the rally thus wasting your time.
The goal of a farm is to get resources that you can transfer to a main account NOT to create another main account.
Target undead camps based on the resource type you need. If you do not find undead camps that you want, try lower or high level camps. Otherwise be patient and wait, undead camps will refresh every 1 hour.
Activity 5: Alliance Aid and Contribution ( < 2 mins)
Provide alliance help and give alliance donations as it contributes to rewards in various events (ie. Feast, etc).
Collect any alliance gifts while you are viewing the Alliance screen. Alliance gifts contain mostly grain, obsidian, and speedups. It is a small amount, but only costs a few mouse clicks or finger taps.
Activity 6: Upgrade buildings and research skills ( < 5 mins)
This can be performed over iterations (or days). Eventually you will get to a point where you do not need to do this anymore. After-all, it's a farm and not your main character.
Type of research skills to upgrade in your Academy:
Combat - Enhance combat skills as much as possible to ensure successful rallies against undead camps.
Development - Enhance development skills (i.e. stamina recovery, battlefield treatment, etc.) as much as possible to run camp rallies more frequently.
Activity 7: Collect Free or Earned Rewards
Navigate through the event menus on the top and bottom bars for anything you can collect for free or with very little effort and time. You are a better judge of how much time you have. If you find yourself spending too much time on a task with very little return, you should skip it the next time.
Don't forget to visit the Mall -- your Market Stall -- and get lots of free resources and exchange resources for other resources for a 20% or more discount. Focus on resources that can be transferred to your main, NOTHING ELSE. Use refresh option to get additional list of items in your market stall. The cost of refresh is minimal compared to buying resources at wholesale price.
Activity 8: Review and Wrap-up
Check the status of your rallies, and available stamina across your farm accounts. If a rally failed, it needs to be restarted.
Check your lord's profile to gauge when the farm's stamina will return to full. See screenshot below. On average it takes 7-8 hours to recover your full stamina.
Once you are done with your activities on the farm, and the troops have returned from their rallies, you can send the troops out to a resource tile (i.e. grain, obsidian, stone, or silver mine) away from the estate before logging out. This provides some protection for your troops in case a poacher decides to attack your farm account while you are away. Alternatively, you can use the armor defense ability or a peace shield for protection.
The following screenshots are of a farm that was created a little over 2 weeks ago. What you can achieve with your farm will vary depending on events that are active and your luck in free spin-the-wheel type events.
One of Doglips' farm accumulated the following resources in under 10 days. That is just one of his four farms.
312.8 M grain
236.7 M obsidian
40.1 M stone
28.7 M silver
The amount of resources accumulated is equivalent to roughly 500 Aristocrat Packs. Using the proper farming strategy saves time, so you can focus on more exciting ventures in the game.
Two (2) level 17 farms running undead camp rallies, market stall, and free/quick events over five (5) days produced the following results:
Farm 1
47.5M grain
66.3M Obsidian
35M Stone
36M Silver
Farm 2
67.7M Grain
111.9 Obsidian
46.8M Stone
28.6M Silver
Combined, the resources are equivalent to 800 aristocrat chests.
Transferring resources from a farm account to a main account requires the main account to attack the farm account.
Step 1: Position main estate near or next to your farm estates
If you are far away, use advance teleport scroll or pay 2000 gold to teleport your estate close to your farm. The marches will be slow, so the further you are the longer it will take to transfer resources from your farm account to your main account.
Step 2: Move all your troops out of the farm account
Do NOT attack your farm account until you have moved your troops out of the farm estate. Otherwise, your troops will die, and you will have to pay a price to heal them or recruit replacements. You can send your troops to mines or encamp your troops in the world map. See screenshot below.
Step 3: Open resource packs in your farm estate
Open only the type and amount of resources you want to transfer. This limits the chances of poachers taking your resources while you are away or leaving excess on your resource top bar.
Calculators are available in the Useful Tools section of the Extras guide to help you open chests or resource packs from your inventory to only what is required to consume or transfer.
Step 4: Attack your farm estate
When you attack your farm estate, a portion of each type of resource will be transferred. Your march's load level determines how much of the resources you will be able to transfer.
Grain - 1 grain per load
Obsidian - 1 obsidian per load
Stone - 1 stone per 5 load
Silver - 1 silver per 20 load
To put this in perspective, assume the following scenario:
Farm contains 10 million silver only (other resources are at or below warehouse protection level)
You can launch 5 concurrent marches
Your troops load capacity is 2.5 million (on average for each march)
Each march takes roughly 40-45 seconds (roundtrip)
A full transfer of 10 million silver will take 15-18 minutes.
Troop types that are best suited to transfer large load are (in order of best to worst):
Artillery (best)
Infantry
Distance
Cavalry (worst)
If you are unable to complete the transfer of your resources, cast a peace shield around either your main and/or farm for protection against poachers.
Step 5: Consume resources in your main estate
If you have a lot of resources on your resource bar (on the top), you can be a target to poachers looking for easy prey. Consume resources quickly in upgrades. If necessary, use speedups to accelerate upgrades.
If you still have too many resources in your resource bar consider using a peace shield for protection.
If you have multiple players interested in setting their own 2 or 4 farms to support their main account, consider setting up an alliance with the following guidelines:
Spread your farms across the map -
Option 1: Each area should be covered by a pair of farms (2), this allows the 2 farms to rally together and harvest 3-4 undead camps per level (i.e. 28 - 32) every 1 hour. Effectively, you can harvest 15-20 undead camps every hour assuming you have sufficient stamina scrolls or Rapid Growth DIY Packs. If you have farms too close together, they will target the same undead camps, and limit the total number of camps your alliance can harvest at any given time.
Option 2: Each area should be covered by 2-3 pairs of farms. Each pair targets specific levels of undead camps in its area. For instance, pair 1 targets 28 & 29, pair 2 targets 30 & 31, pair 3 targets 32. Pairs can switch undead camp levels each day.
Join only your own rallies - Join the rally of your own farm account that is close to you. Joining a rally that may be across the map will waste time and fail.
Research alliance skills that improve efficiency of farming (i.e. march speed, march rally slots, gathering load, etc.).
Alliance Store only needs Advanced Teleport for its farm, everything else is unnecessary.
This section is NOT for everyone. If you don't understand it, do not ask questions and move on.
All your accounts are stored in FunPlus StormShot's preference directory. The location may differ depending on how it was installed on your PC. The file containing your account information is st_global_settings.ini.
C:\FunPlus\StormShot\prefs\st_global_settings.ini
Create a backup of this file if you plan to add, remove, or modify list of accounts from the account management screen. The user interface may be unforgiving if you accidentally delete one of your farm accounts, or even main account for that matter. It may be wise to link some of your accounts to your Google, Facebook, or FunPlus account.
If you plan on playing on different machines with the same set of accounts, simply copy the st_global_settings.ini file from one machine to another. The file should be copied into the FunPlus/StormShot/pref directory.
For the technical folks, the st_global_settings.ini file contains the property cache_account_infos that is a base64 encoding of a JSon object array containing identifiers for the account. If you are technical enough you can transfer specific accounts from one location to another or even rearrange their order. There are plenty of online base64 encoding and decoding sites to help you manipulate the value. Click for a guide to decoding and encoding the cache_account_infos property. Just make sure you are still compliant with the rules of the game and take extra precautions.
