Research Operational Plan

Research Operational Plan (ROP) is a brief complete scenario of a research project from scratch to the end. It helps the researcher understand every component of a proposal and the stages of conducting academic research.

The ROP comprises all important components of a research proposal, starting from identifying research issues and problems to research methodology. From his experience in conducting academic research, Dr. Gusman Nawanir has developed five ROP templates: quantitative research, qualitative research, mixed methods, product development, and simulations/modeling. 

The ROP template for the quantitative study is presented below. The editable copy in MS Word is available here.

In this training, participants are required to prepare an ROP for his/her future or on-going research. All the components in the ROP should be completed.
