Monster Bash 2025 is the ultimate Halloween Extravaganza hosted by Morningside Elementary School. It's a spine-tingling celebration filled with thrilling games, heart-pounding rides, and delicious treats. As always, the highlight is sure to be our 5th Grade Haunted House, masterfully crafted to send shivers down your spine!

Join us in October for a day of spooky fun and Halloween magic that the whole community will remember!

Bake Sale

Sign ups are now open for this year's Monster Bash Bake Sale! Please use the Bake Sale Donation SignUp Genius to let us know what you'd like to contribute. All bake sale items should be individually wrapped. Bake sale items will need to be delivered to the school on Friday, October 24th during arrivals or dismissal or on Saturday morning, October 25th between 9-10:30am. The Bake Sale Committee will price the items. Proceeds from the Bake Sale will go to support the work of the Dolphins Do Good committee to purchase grocery gift cards for Morningside families needing assistance with holiday meal purchase.

We would also love volunteers to help with the set-up and running of the bake sale on Saturday. Please use this Sign Up Genius to volunteer!

Haunted House

The 5th Haunted House is brewing up some spine-tingling magic, and this year’s plans are downright spook-tacular! The committee is on the hunt for some fearless volunteers to conjure up the event’s design and planning. We’re calling all 5th graders and their brave parental units to join us for some fun-filled workdays and the Friday before the Monster Bash! Let’s turn this ghostly vision into a reality! Pumpkin Auction

Calling all creative souls and crafty wizards! We need some amazing craft pumpkins for our annual Monster Bash pumpkin auction. Sign up to decorate a plastic or ceramic pumpkin before Tuesday October 21st. If you have any questions please contact Liz Lawrence.

The day of Monster Bash all decorated pumpkins will be on display outside the cafeteria and the bidding will begin at 11am. Bid often so you can take on of these beautiful pumpkins home as a keepsake of the wonderful times at MES. All proceeds help make Monster Bash a fun and safe space.

Monster Store

We’re excited to bring a brand-new shopping experience to this year’s Monster Bash! The Monster Bash Store is your go-to spot for fun, festive items the whole family will love. From affordable rings and stickers to magical light-up wands, there’s something for everyone.

Stickers: $4 each

WHAT IS THE MONSTER BASH?

Monster Bash is celebrating its 45th year as a Morningside Elementary school tradition! The MES PTA has hosted a Halloween Carnival each fall, open to our wonderful community. Our students and children from all parts of our community look forward to this event all year. They love to spend the day at Morningside Elementary playing with their friends, showing off their costumes ,and getting in the spirit of the season! Families enjoy games, rides, food trucks, a delicious bake sale, the spectacular haunted house-made by our very own 5th graders and much, much more.
