CREATIVE VISUAL THINKING

This class was an introduction to communication design. It explored different media and how visual elements are used to communicate. We focused on the vocabulary of effective visual presentation and the analysis of visual messages across media platforms. Below are a few of my class projects. All projects were completed using Adobe Creative Cloud software, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe XD. 

OLE MISS STUDY ABROAD

This project was a poster for the University of Mississippi's study aboard department. The assignment was to promote a chosen location for study abroad opportunities. 

WING AND STRING

This project was several different parts, all creating a magazine and brand. The instructor gave us different feature stories, and the assignment was to develop the magazine and, eventually, the app it would be read in. My feature story was about fishing in Mississippi. For the brand, I created "Wing and String." A fly fishing and outdoorsman's dream reading material. I designed the logo, brand sheet, cover page, and app (linked) featured below.
